Our Story

Over the last few years, we’ve seen friends move out to the country and start farming. They start with a few acres and start producing food on a small scale. We’ve watched them learn, thrive, and hit road blocks. At the same time, we’ve seen food prices go up and scarcity that we had not previously experienced. We realized that both problems could be solved at the same time, by improving the supply chain between small farms and consumers.

Susan Sim, Ph.D., CEO

From a young age, Susan has been eating food from farms. This nutrition has fueled a dual career in research and industry leading teams in digital technology. She is cross trained in software development, data science, strategy consulting, and video editing. Her favourite farm animal is a horse.

Spencer Dossett, Compliance, Marketing and Technology

Spencer has a passion for making the economy work for everyone so that all benefit. He has a background in accounting, cloud systems, and security for software development. His favourite farm animal is a chicken.

Hannah Dossett, Product Manager

A passionate nature enthusiast, Hannah has a background in Health Sciences and Product Management. She is eager to help contribute to improving local food supply-chains. Her favourite farm animal is a cow.
